Our Review:

DaddyHunt.com is another niche gay dating website, this time specializing in connecting you to a community of older gay guys and their fans. It's easy enough to find your way around and the site isn't too cluttered with features, which helps when first using the site. However, the ads can be a little annoying, which is a good reason to upgrade.

It's free to sign up and takes just a minute. Make sure you have a valid email address though. The site makes the distinction between 'Daddies' (older, dominant gay males) and 'Hunters' (younger guys looking for mature men). It's necessary to declare which you are when you sign up. At the time of this review there were over 220,000 profiles to browse, with 4158 members online, most members being from the US, Canada, UK and Australia, though the site does have a global reach. There's quite a lot of activity on the site; very quickly after signing up you start getting attention from other guys. Profiles list age, location, relationship status (plenty of guys here are in a steady relationship), with plenty of detail about what they like and what they're looking for. You can search for a quick fling or relationship, but the trend seems to be biased towards the former. Free members can post up to 10 public photos and 10 private photos, whilst supporters get up to 25. To view private photos that member will have to unlock them.

A number of search options are available to help you browse. First of all, you'll find a number of easy-to-use preconfigured searches that allow you to browse Daddies by city (90 US cities are listed) and theme (22 listed, e.g. ethnicity, type (silver bears, muscle bears) and age range). Other search options include a name search but no keyword search. Whilst there's a useful advanced search (allowing you to specify age range, relationship status, location and filter out members without photos as well as according to last login, ethnicity and sexual preferences), there are quicker ways to search, including tabs to list members joined today, members joined this week and Daddies from your state.   

Ways to connect with other members are somewhat limited. In addition to email, you can send 'gropes' to break the ice, add favorites, send buddy requests (which the other member has to confirm) and bookmark member profiles. Sadly, there's no live chat or IM hosted on the site. Free members get a pretty good deal though - create a profile, upload up to 20 public and private photos, search, email (limited), create a favorites list and more. Supporters get to upload 25 photos, have unrestricted email access, can create buddy lists and have enhanced features including being notified when messages are opened by other members, and no ads on the site. It's a great idea to support the site, especially as it's a reasonable cost. You get a better deal the longer you sign up for. Finally, the on-site support is reliable and the FAQs section in particular is well organized and detailed.

If you like big, mature guys then DaddyHunt.com is a great site to help you meet them. Conversely, if you're an older guy looking for younger males then you'll find plenty here. For a great price you get a buzzing site and plenty of features for a few dollars, so why not check it out!
