Our Review:

Squirt.org is slightly different from a lot of other gay dating sites as it specializes in gay cruising locations where gay and bi guys can meet for no-strings encounters. It's therefore more of a hookup site than a dating site. Of course, this won't appeal to all gay guys out there, but for those of you who do relish illicit encounters with strangers then look no further than here.

The site features the mandatory naked male torso, this time lifting up his vest to reveal one nipple and a pair of underpants. It's easy and free to sign up, but not the easiest site to navigate because of the amount of features that are crammed in here. It's a popular site, with over 500,000 profiles, 2,759 in the New York Metropolitan area alone at the time of this review. Whilst there are plenty of US guys here, lots are from the UK and Europe too. The profiles are fairly detailed and focus mostly on the sexual preferences and physical appearance of members. Given the nature of cruising, what you like to do as a hobby becomes fairly unimportant. Basically, if you're looking to meet guys for anonymous encounters then you don't really need to know that much about them. Therefore, details are geared towards where you like to cruise and what you're into. Most of the photos on the site are very explicit, so be prepared either to be offended or aroused (maybe both). You can also find ratings on member profiles detailing their 'performance'. Your chances of meeting guys on this site is pretty much guaranteed, but just be aware of what's involved (i.e. not pizza and a movie). 

You can search for profiles using the quick search option (limited to location or proximity to you) or advanced search in which you can specify the type of place you want to visit (e.g. sauna, park, etc.). The target search (upgraded members only) lets you fine-tune your cruising search by allowing you to select specific cities or specify how far you want to travel to a cruising spot. The proximity search then returns all cruising options within the area you've specified. 'Cruise Now' links you immediately to all of the cruising listings in the location where you are registered and want to hookup with someone near you today There are also one-click preconfigured searches that allow you to search for videos, including the 'newest', 'highest rated' and 'most viewed'. To connect with other members, email appears to be the default option. If you want to chat in real time you can also connect using IM, and enhance your online experience if you have a webcam to see the person you're chatting with. The private and group webcam shows are very explicit and feature guys on their webcams letting their fingers do the walking for the most part. There's also plenty of ways to connect without really getting involved with other members. You can find events listings and heaps of information on cruising spots, with comments, reviews, maps and advice. Just be careful if you decide to venture to a cruising spot. You can create a list of favorites spots, rate a listing and read the guide to gay cruising too. Some events are organized parties and you can get discounted entry to saunas, bathhouses, etc.

Free members can view some cruising listings but are restricted from accessing photos, maps and contact/website info. Neither can you print directions to cruising spots. You can use the quick search but not the target search. Free members also get to view one member video per day. Fan Club members get unlimited access to all cruising listings, videos, view all photos and can enlarge them, view maps, print out directions and get all links to cruising listings. In addition, subscribers can access the target search and get their profile listed at the top of search results. In terms of value for money, it's cheaper the longer you sign up for. Costs work out at around $1.00 a day if you join for a week, falling to $0.43 per day if you sign up for a month and as low as $0.24 per day if you join for a year. That's a lot of cruising for next to nothing! There's also a very detailed FAQs section on the site, with email support, a billing support line and priority assistance for Fan Club members.

Squirt.org is packed full of useful information to meet gay guys online or find places to cruise and hookup. Just don't come here hoping for old-fashioned romance. With useful features, good search tools and plenty of interactive content, it's great value for money and deserves a place in our Top 10.
