Our Review:

LadsLads.com looks a little plain at first glance, but you soon realize that it has plenty to offer gay guys who want to meet other gay guys. Whether it's a bit of naughty fun you want, or something far less exciting (such as a committed relationship), you'll find guys here eager to meet you.

It's free to sign up and you won't have to spend any money should you be satisfied with standard membership, which gives you the basics you need to get going. All you need is a valid email address. However, if you like the site why not become a supporter and help contribute to running costs, which are cheaper than other sites? At the time of this review there were countless thousands of profiles, with 9817 online worldwide. A total of 215 new members had signed up that day, so there's a moderate level of activity. The problem is that, like all free sites, there's a potential for a preponderance of incomplete or abandoned profiles. The profiles are fairly detailed; importantly, you can check out the last time a member logged in by their profile, so as to avoid wasting your time. In addition to the usual basic demographics, you can watch their introductory videos, check out their favorites list, friends network blogs and wall (where other members can post messages).

To search for members, you have a number of options. Quick search finds members based upon location, age range, physical characteristics and what they're looking for. You can filter results by those profiles with photos, videos, blogs, online now and sort by last login date. The advanced search has a mass of options covering pretty much everything in a member's profile. As search tools go, it's very good. You might also find the username search and town and region searches useful. There's also a range of 'quick lookups' including featured members, popular members, birthday members, newest local members, members nearest me and members who visited me/who I visited. An impressive array! To connect with other members you can email, send a wink as an icebreaker (and attach a message if you are a supporter), as well as creating friends and favorites lists. 

Free members get unlimited personal messaging, photos, limited video viewing, up to 20 profiles on their favorites list, unlimited friends. As a free member you can also see who added you as a friend or favorited you. As far as free memberships go, you get a great deal. If you become a supporter you get priority support, full message history, status updates, unlimited video viewing, advanced search tools, enhanced profile settings (e.g. disable tracking and wall features on your profile), unlimited favorites and much more. It's well worth considering subscribing if you like the site. If you have any questions or problems there's good technical support. In addition to a FAQs section, you can chat online with a moderator for membership help, or an administrator for technical support. You can also email. A new and enhanced support system is currently in progress too.

LadsLads.com is a great site. Whilst it might not have the most features or greatest membership base, you get a really good deal as a free member and as a subscriber and is worth considering in your quest for gay dates.
